MISSION AND EVANGELISM
This outfit sees to the fulfillment of our core mandate as a church, that is,
winning souls and discipling them. The tools employed are mainly house to house,
open air services, visitations, crusades, radio ministry and other strategies as
led by the Spirit of God. The district continues to raise funds in aid of God’s
ECUMENICAL AND SOCIAL RELATION
We relate with other congregations beside the Presbyterian Church. We are a
member of all Local Council of Churches and participate fully in their
We also relate well with the Traditional rulers and people of other faiths. We
enjoy partnership with friends from Europe and the U.S.A who support us in
ADMINISTRATION AND HUMAN RESOURCE
Much emphasis has recently been laid on the importance of equipping ourselves
with quality human resource with varying backgrounds. Training is therefore
crucial to our activities. The need to fit our offices with modern gadgets is
seriously being pursued. Computers, Printers, Projectors for Power Point sermons
and Teaching services are all needed in this regard.
DEVELOPMENT AND SOCIAL SERVICES
The district provides social services to our community and its environs. The
Presbyterian Hospital in Donkorkrom is the only hospital in the district and
serves everybody who visits this health facility.
The Spartanburg Orphanage is attached to the hospital and assists orphans and
needy children in the community and beyond. Friends from Scotland and the
Foothills Presbytery in the U.S.A have been doing a wonderful job at the
hospital and orphanage. Medical equipment, cash donations and other logistics
come from time to time from these great friends. They have paid us visits too.

We ensure that one does not miss an encounter with the word of God as they pass
through our institutions.
In terms of development, a pilot yam farm is underway with the view to expanding
it and employing people to work for wages. It is hoped that a holistic ministry
will be served our people.
We ensure a proper accounting practice. This breeds confidence in the members
and encourage giving. We have worked hard to make quarterly financial reports a
common feature in our administration. To ensure that the work of God progresses
further and faster, our financial commitment to higher courts of the church are
We welcome groups, ministries and individuals who would like to partner us and
support us financially to promote God’s work. A research carried out shows that
there are 14,000 towns and villages in Ghana without churches. We need more
resources to reach out to them. The Ebenezer congregation has set up a ‘CLUB
150’ account which seeks all who are zealous for the Lord to contribute money to
so the mission to the unsaved could be followed.
The district is endowed with the following basic schools.
· Odomase Primary school
· Samanhyia primary and JHS
· Kwasikuma Primary
· Ntonaboma Primary and JHS
· Donkorkrom Primary and JHS
We place emphasis on education and jump at any opportunity to bring it close to
people in their communities.
